Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED in Bedok is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs for F&B equipment and outlet facilities. You will ensure reliable operation of kitchen and service areas.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting commercial kitchen equipment, diagnosing faults, installing new gear, maintaining records and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Maintenance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance or technical support.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical or commercial kitchen equipment would be advantageous.
• Able to read basic equipment manuals, wiring diagrams or technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs for F&B equipment and outlet facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment including dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, ovens, fryers, steamers, induction cookers and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration-related faults.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Install, test and commission new equipment and machinery where required.
• Maintain outlet facilities including lighting, water-supply systems, doors, locks and other building fixtures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and spare-parts inventory.
• Coordinate with external service contractors and suppliers when specialised repairs are required.
• Follow applicable workplace safety and equipment-maintenance procedures.
