Job summary

You will explain features, pricing and promotions, strive to hit sales targets, handle transactions, and collaborate with opticians and store managers to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Qualifications

• Retail/customer-service experience is useful; fresh graduates/no experience may apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused and able to work toward sales targets.
• Willingness to learn about eyewear and basic vision-care products.
• Able to work retail shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
• Team player with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Understand customers’ vision needs, preferences, and budget.
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses, sunglasses and other eyewear products.
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing and promotions.
• Achieve individual/store sales targets and support upselling.
• Maintain customer records, prescriptions, work orders and payments.
• Process sales transactions through the POS system.
• Assist with inventory, receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain attractive product displays and overall store cleanliness.
• Handle customer questions, complaints and returns professionally.
• Work closely with opticians, optometrists and store managers.
• Support eye-care services and help customers through the eyewear-selection process.
