The Aircraft Painter is responsible for sanding and preparing surfaces for paint, mixing paint products, and applying paint products within the allocated man-hour budgets while staying on schedule and maintaining quality standards. The role involves performing tasks within all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply paint according to work instructions
• Handle overlap and touch-ups (up to 1 liter)
• Use paint tools correctly and understand different types of paints
• Follow Bombardier standards for quality and safety
• Perform visual checks to identify non-conformities and successful outcomes
• Complete daily timecards and ensure accuracy of task information
• Be punctual, meticulous, and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of aircraft painting experience on business aircraft or similar
• Ability to work from documentation such as procedures and preparation packages
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Capability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Diploma, trade certificates, or equivalent
