Join a leading global technology and defense company as an Export Sales Manager, based in Singapore. You will drive sales in key South East Asian markets, notably Indonesia and Singapore, while establishing strong customer relationships and managing commercial activities in a dynamic environment.

Who are you ?
With significant commercial experience (between 5 and 10 years) in the development and management of commercial prospects for export in complex environments, you already have knowledge of the Defense and Government markets (State, embassy networks, and industrial partners). As a true leader, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills that will allow you to build a relationship of trust with your customers and internal teams as well as defend a capture strategy in front of management.

• You are results-oriented and demonstrate adaptability, proactivity and enjoy solving complex issues and providing innovative solutions.
• You speak English fluently to be able to effectively communicate and know how to evolve in a diverse multicultural environment.
What we can accomplish together:
Within the Commercial Department of Thales LAS (Land and Air Systems), you operate in a very dynamic commercial area rich in opportunities: South East Asia. This position is based in Singapore within the offices of Thales Singapore.
You develop the sales of the activities of the Business Lines SRA (Surface Radar) and IAS (Integrated Airspace-Protection System) in particular for Indonesia and Singapore.
As such, your main tasks are to:
• Understand the needs, challenges and customer organization;
• Promote Business Line solutions; and more generally knowing how to develop and extend the THALES offer to all the target countries in the areas concerned;
• Develop and execute a business plan in line with Thales' order taking issues in the region, which will be regularly proposed to Management.
• Sustain and increase commercial activity and order intake around the installed base Centre/Radar/Defence system throughout the area;
• Sustain and develop the relationship with our industrial partners in order to develop our order intake; Among other things, it will be necessary to establish winning local partnerships with an industrial organization including, if necessary, transfers of activities (ToP/ToT/JV, etc.).
• Take charge of the entire commercial process: qualification of opportunities upstream, submission of offers, negotiations, signing of the contract, entry into force, sales of services and recurring sales;
• Guarantee the order taking with the required GMOI
• Ensure full customer satisfaction;
• Manage sales forecasts and order intake with the tools made available;
• Frequent trips abroad are to be expected.
