Export Sales Executive

Job Description

• Full range of order processing duties, including inquiries, quotes, orders, and invoices.
• Process technical orders and requisitions by comparing items requested to master list.
• Procure items at the best prices from the best sources and/or utilize existing stock in hand. Coordinate with warehouse on stock requisitions and prepare orders.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers and forwarders to ensure that all items are delivered to vessels on time.
• Prepare essential export documents, such as packing lists and weight/volume calculations.
• Posting of delivery orders for billing.
• Issuing of goods returned notes for items rejected by customers; resolve shipment errors with suppliers.
• Board the vessel if necessary.
• Maintain and expand dealers’ network and build strong customer relationships through excellent customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the ship chandler industry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to display analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working under continual time constraints.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment; dynamic & motivated personality; able to work independently.
