A leading company seeks an Export Sales Executive to drive sales growth in international markets. This role includes managing relationships with overseas clients, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. Candidates should have relevant degrees and 2-5 years of experience in international business development. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential, and willingness to travel internationally is required.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets.
Manage existing overseas distributors, agents, and customers to drive sales growth.
Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets set by management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, understanding their needs to provide suitable solutions.
Conduct regular follow-ups, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Research assigned markets for trends, competitors, pricing, and product demands.
Provide market feedback to the management team for strategy and product development.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms within company guidelines.
Process and coordinate export orders from confirmation to shipment, working closely with logistics, finance, and supply chain teams.
Ensure all export documentation is accurate and complies with international regulations.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management review.
Analyse sales performance and propose corrective actions where necessary.
Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and overseas customer visits to promote products and strengthen partnerships.
Ensure compliance with export laws, regulations, and company policies.
Monitor and manage credit risks of overseas customers.
Requirements:
Preferably with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in export sales or international business development.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), shipping procedures, and export documentation.
Analytical, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
Willing to travel overseas as required.
Language proficiency in English and other regional languages (where relevant) is an advantage.
