Responsibilities

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.

• Identify and mitigate potential risks in the export process such as supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuation and trade restriction.

• Prepare, verify, and manage export-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions in compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations and export control laws.

• Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to transportation or delays.

• Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely availability of products for export.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers/regulatory bodies/vendors to manage relationship and resolve export-related issues like order status, shipment details, and documentation.

• Prepare cost reports and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

Prerequisites

• Minimum 3 years of experience in export operations, preferably in FMCG/food industry.

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Incoterms, risk management principles, and cost optimization strategies.
