Job Summary:

The Export Customer Service Representative will be responsible for managing and overseeing the export process, ensuring that all shipments are handled efficiently, on time, and meet customer expectations. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of export documentation and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Support:
    Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns related to export shipments.
    Act as the main point of contact between customers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
    Ensure timely updates and communication with customers regarding the status of their shipments.
Telemarketing & Sales Support:
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote , follow up on leads, and generate new business.
  • Provide information, pricing, and promotional offers to targeted prospects.
  • Maintain a database of customer contacts and update call results and feedback.
  • Assist in market research to identify new export opportunities and customer segments.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving service and operational efficiency.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:
  • Education:
    International Trade, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in export or logistics operations, with a focus on customer service.
    Experience with shipping documentation, international trade compliance, and customs procedures is highly preferred.
    Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping methods is a plus.
  • Skills:
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with customers.
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position , weekday Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
