To provide efficient customer service and management, effective container consolidation and cargo confirmation, and efficient and effective warehousing and transport management to achieve profitability and budgeted volumes for the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and feedback.
- Manage shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations & customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalated complaints and provide solutions to ensure customer retention.
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage shipping-related enquiries from internal/external customers.
- Troubleshoot operational issues encountered internally and externally.
- Sourcing of space based on customer requirements.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies to ensure smooth and successful cargo delivery.
- Plan container consolidations to ensure containers are fully optimized.
Requirements:
- Preferably with experience in NVOCC operations or freight forwarding.
- Good knowledge of ocean freight operations and regulations.
- Able to multitask & commit to long working hours.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of handling Dangerous Goods is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
