Job description

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a food manufacturing business and we are hiring for an Export Coordinator to join their business permanently! Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the successful incumbent will be coordinating import and export shipments across APAC region.

  • Job type: Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
  • Work location: Central region (CBD area)
  • Basic salary: up to $4,800 / month + AWS

The Job:

  • Manage entire export order lifecycle, from initial order confirmation to final delivery, ensuring all steps are executed.
  • Coordinate both export and import shipments with precision, managing schedules, and anticipating potential challenges to prevent delays.
  • Organizing, preparing, and maintaining all essential order-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations, ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of invoices, working closely with finance to ensure all charges are correctly applied and reconciled.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatches for all APAC destinations.
  • Identify and resolve any logistical issues that may arise, continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the export process.

The Talent:

  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in handling impport/export shipments, within food manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Strong team player, ability to communicate effectively with diverse levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling Letter of Credit is highly advantageous.
