Job description

We are a leading freight forwarding company with worldwide operations, and we have a vacancy for an Export Coordinator.

Job Competency Requirements:

1. Team player with a positive mindset and good communication skills.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding industry.
3. Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
4. Knowledge of DG handling and Cargowise (CW) system is an advantage.

Role Performance and Expectations:

1. Attend to incoming calls and inquiries.
2. Handle inquiries from overseas agents or business partners and monitor nominated shipments.
3. Update sailing schedules in CW and on the website.
4. Plan container or carrier usage, issue booking references, update CW, and coordinate with hauliers for trucking containers to warehouses.
5. Process export documentation, billing, pre-alerts, and file closing.
6. Handle DG cargo declarations, if applicable.
7. Manage AMS / ACI filings.
8. Liaise with agents regarding cargo discrepancies.
9. Perform tasks and assignments as directed by superiors.
