Job summary

Horiba Instruments (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a compliance professional to support legal, export control, and corporate compliance programs in Southeast Asia. The role collaborates with our Kyoto HQ on policy alignment and regulatory requirements.

You will manage contracts, support dispute resolution, and drive PDPA compliance across the region, while overseeing export controls and training for sales teams. Strong governance and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in legal, intl. business, admin, supply chain or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in trade compliance, customs or international trade regulations.
• Experience in law firms or in-house legal/contracts review preferred.
• Awareness of geopolitical developments and impact on trade.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage contracts, NDAs, and other business agreements; administer records.
• Support resolution of legal disputes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead corporate compliance programs and conduct training for SEA employees and affiliates.
• Oversee PDPA data protection duties; identify gaps and mitigate risks.
• Support security trade control across SEA, including end-user verifications and SAP processes.
• Coordinate with HQ Legal/Export Control on transactions involving sensitive countries or orgs.
• Deliver regular security trade control training to sales teams and others.
• Prepare annual sales reports and participate in Global/Asia export meetings.
