About the Role

We have an opening in our Singapore office for an Exploration and Production Capital Project Analyst. The role is one with potential to become a consultant and trusted advisor in your specialisation in Industry.

IPA Singapore seeks candidates for the Project Analyst position with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity who are looking to contribute as a thought leader. Day in the Life

Responsibilities of the Project Analyst role includes:

  • client-facing work to collect and analyse project technical data
  • writing reports with insight and customer-focus
  • delivery of verbal (including virtual delivery) feedback and public presentations
  • working directly with capital project teams and project organisations to improve business competitiveness and grow the client relationship
  • conduct research on the drivers of project success and failure using statistics and the projects database
Essential Skills

With the right combination of experience, curiosity, and relationship skills, our ideal candidate will be someone who can quickly take on a client engagement lead position to guide core clients through their capital project improvement journey.

IPA analysts must have excellent written and oral communication skills and display the interpersonal skills needed to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels with client companies. The position requires solid analytical skills and the ability to analyse and understand various levels of metrics in the assessment of overall project status. Flexibility is on offer and a lifestyle of travelling extensively is part of the deal (with the virtual platform blend). Travel is primarily within AsiaPacific, although may extend to the United States, and is primarily on weekdays.

A minimum of 5 years working experience in related roles or the E&P sector, and a Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree (preferred) or equivalent in engineering, science (physics, chemistry,petroleum, geology) statistics, operations research, economics or allied fields is a requirement for the Project Analyst position. Previous experience in subsurface or well construction is an advantage.
