An established industry player is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to oversee all aspects of project management from inception to completion. This role involves multitasking across various construction projects, ensuring that each is completed on time and within budget. The successful candidate will prepare tender documents, manage procurement processes, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to facilitate progress payments. If you are a proactive individual with a diploma and at least two years of experience in quantity surveying, this opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on project success.
Full responsibility of QS for all projects from start to completion.
Must have the ability to manage, plan, initiate, execute, organize, motivate, monitor and communicate well; work independently.
Able to work with tasks assigned from tender stage till completion of projects.
Able to multitask assigned procurements of multiple construction projects.
To ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget.
Involved in Purchase Order/price forecasting for different materials needed for the project; prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
Work with Project Managers and/or Supervisors for progress payments and issuance of payment certificates; assigned work related to complete the project handover.
Job Requirements:
At least Diploma and above.
At least 2 years experience as QS.
5 days subject to change, but expected to complete the tasks assigned at own arrangement due for submission or urgent support for site matters.
