Job summary

A leading assurance firm in Singapore is seeking an individual to perform assurance and testing work for a varied clientele. This role requires a degree in accountancy and offers the opportunity to lead engagements independently. Candidates with audit experience in local firms are preferred. Proficiency in English and Chinese is key for client communication. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Job Description
  • Perform a variety of assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries

  • Prepare audit working papers in accordance with the engagement objectives and planned audit approach

  • Communicate with audit clients to gather necessary information, address queries, and provide updates on audit progress.

  • Able to lead and perform engagements independently and provide guidance as and when required

  • Basic knowledge of auditing listed companies and/or Companies under the requirements of Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is a plus point to this role

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy is a must

  • Candidate with audit experience in Singapore local audit firm is a plus point

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Pleasant personality, self-motivated and a good team player

  • Proficiency in MS Word & MS Excel

  • Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese (to be able to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines

  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
