Job summary

EY wavespace Singapore is seeking an Experience Designer (Senior Associate/Assistant Manager) to craft immersive experiences for senior leaders across industries. You will shape participant journeys, harness AI-enabled design, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to turn complex ideas into tangible experiences.

We value systems thinking, storytelling and interactive design capabilities, plus a portfolio that demonstrates problem-solving and a capacity to rapidly prototype using tools

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating problem solving, systems thinking and design capability.
• Experience designing experiences, products, services, simulations, learning programmes or innovation initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize research and communicate insights effectively.
• Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and demonstrated application in projects.
• Ability to rapidly create and test digital prototypes using AI-enabled, no-code, low-code or coding approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

As an Experience Designer, you will help design and deliver workshops, simulations, innovation programmes, learning journeys and transformation experiences for senior business leaders across industries.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making sense of complexity, designing meaningful interactions and using emerging technologies to create better experiences.

What you'll do

Design experiences that help people think differently

• Translate complex business challenges into engaging workshop, learning and innovation experiences.
• Design participant journeys, activity mechanics, decision-making exercises and collaborative interactions.
• Develop compelling narratives that bring abstract concepts, strategies and emerging technologies to life.
• Create experience concepts, storyboards, frameworks, visual artefacts and prototypes.

Support experience delivery

• Support and progressively lead workshops, co-creation sessions and immersive experiences.
• Collaborate with facilitators, consultants and subject matter experts to deliver impactful experiences.
• Adapt experiences in real time based on participant feedback and emerging needs.
• Contribute to facilitation, debriefing and experience documentation.

Apply systems thinking and human-centred design

• Conduct research and synthesize insights from diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Map systems, ecosystems, customer journeys and organizational challenges to uncover opportunities for intervention.
• Apply human-centred design approaches to frame problems and generate solutions collaboratively.
• Connect business objectives with participant needs and desired outcomes.

Leverage AI and emerging technologies

• Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, content creation, prototyping and experience development.
• Explore new technologies and ways of working that can enhance client experiences.
• Prototype and experiment with AI-enabled experiences, simulations and learning formats.
• Contribute ideas that help shape the future of EY wavespace offerings.

Contribute to practice development

• Help evolve EY wavespace methodologies, tools and experience assets.
• Bring new thinking, creative approaches and emerging practices into the team.
• Support proposals and business development efforts through concept development and experience design.
