A global logistics leader in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional to manage operations and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in operations and a degree in logistics or supply chain management. Responsibilities include managing relationships, improving processes, and leading a team. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is emphasized within the workplace culture.
To ensure delivery of key SLA’s with customers in a fast growing sector, including managing/implementing operations for existing and new customers in accordance with the DSC demands
Reviews monthly operational performance with customers and provide solutions to drive operational excellence
Build a strong win-win relationship with customers, so as to ensure customer retention and development of solutions to grow existing businesses
Frequently review, align and keep immediate Superior updated with information on operational issues and performance indices, such as customer profile, Space Management, Resources management, Operating procedures, and P&L status
Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and met according to the customer’s SLA
Continually review and improve business processes, to improve productivity and add value to DHL services
Manage the effective implementation and use of the appropriate technology in all sections of the service chain, to enhance service and improve productivity
Develop a high performance service culture within the functional team. Plan, organize, and direct in an efficient and effective manner
Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management preferred
Min 3 years of experience in managing an operational functional team
Experience in reading and managing Profit & Loss statement would be advantageous
Must be highly motivated and able to supervise headcount of 30, and manage relationships with all levels of staff and customer
Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
