Job description
Responsibilities:
  • To ensure delivery of key SLA’s with customers in a fast growing sector, including managing/implementing operations for existing and new customers in accordance with the DSC demands

  • Reviews monthly operational performance with customers and provide solutions to drive operational excellence

  • Build a strong win-win relationship with customers, so as to ensure customer retention and development of solutions to grow existing businesses

  • Frequently review, align and keep immediate Superior updated with information on operational issues and performance indices, such as customer profile, Space Management, Resources management, Operating procedures, and P&L status

  • Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and met according to the customer’s SLA

  • Continually review and improve business processes, to improve productivity and add value to DHL services

  • Manage the effective implementation and use of the appropriate technology in all sections of the service chain, to enhance service and improve productivity

  • Develop a high performance service culture within the functional team. Plan, organize, and direct in an efficient and effective manner

Requirements:
  • Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management preferred

  • Min 3 years of experience in managing an operational functional team

  • Experience in reading and managing Profit & Loss statement would be advantageous

  • Must be highly motivated and able to supervise headcount of 30, and manage relationships with all levels of staff and customer

  • Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
