Responsibilities
- Review monthly operational performance with customers and provide solutions to drive operational excellence.
- Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operational activities are executed and meet customer SLAs.
- Ensure delivery of key SLAs with customers in a fast-growing sector, including managing and implementing operations for existing and new customers according to operational demands.
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with customers to ensure retention and develop solutions to grow existing businesses.
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Ensure collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
- Regularly review, align, and update immediate superiors on operational issues and performance metrics, including customer profile, space management, resource management, operating procedures, and P&L status.
- Oversee warehouse activities and ensure operations comply with DHL standards.
- Manage end-to-end operations processes such as warehousing, reverse logistics, and customs/license compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop a high-performance service culture within the team by planning, organizing, and directing efficiently.
- Manage inventory, including stock counts, cycle counts, variance investigations, adjustments, and parts movement.
- Maintain proper documentation and records, including updating distribution databases and networks.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, change requests, and new projects with a customer-focused approach.
- Perform time studies to assess operational efficiency.
- Review continuous improvement progress and savings monthly with management, identifying operational or quality gaps to drive excellence.
- Lead process improvement, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuously review and enhance business processes to improve productivity and add value to DHL services.
- Operate in accordance with the company’s quality policy and customer service standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing an operational team.
- Must be highly motivated, capable of supervising a headcount of over 50, and able to manage relationships at all staff levels and with customers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.
