DHL Supply Chain Singapore is seeking a logistics manager to oversee operations related to inbound/outbound shipments, warehouse management, and compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Supply Chain Management or similar, possess over three years of relevant experience, and demonstrate proficiency in leveraging WMS/TMS platforms. Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Plan and monitor inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Manage warehouse operations, including stock audits, cycle counts, and loss prevention.
Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
Process Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and reduce lead times.
Analyze logistics KPIs (e.g., OTIF, freight costs) and report findings to senior management.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to local/international regulations (e.g., customs, hazardous materials).
Promote workplace safety protocols and sustainability initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaise with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with business goals.
Resolve escalated customer inquiries related to shipping delays or damages.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
Proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
