IDHealth, an initiative of Happee Hearts Movement is a community-based, integrated health team dedicated to serving adults with intellectual disability and their caregivers.
People with intellectual disability have poorer health and lower access to and use of healthcare services than the general population. IDHealth’s goal is to reduce the barriers to health and healthcare utilization for this population by providing a health service that isaccessible toandappropriate forpeople with intellectual disability.In addition, we aim to increase the capability of Singapore’s health and social service sectors to serve this population.

Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone with the skills to support our volunteer management and engagement activities, foster and build strong partnerships with stakeholders and other organizations aimed at supporting adults with intellectual disabilities.
As an Executiveproviding support in volunteer management, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our volunteers are effectively integrated into the charity's operations and contribute to its mission. The role includes building strong relationships with volunteers in a positive and engaging environment and developing and implementing strategies to attract and recruit volunteers. You will be integral in the process of volunteer recruitment, screening, orientation, training, programme planning and execution, scheduling and deployment, evaluation, database management and closure.
Also, volunteer engagement includes activities such as organising appreciation and networking sessions, conducting regular check-ins with clients and volunteers to gather feedback and address concerns, create and distribute newsletters, marketing materials and communications (including social media), and publicizing events to attract attendees and volunteers.
You will also be involved in identifying and cultivatingrelationships with potential partners, developing and maintaining partnerships with corporate sponsors, community groups, and other organizations.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance including managing client and volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for programs and events, maintenance and updating of corporate website
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning andexecution of event and logistical matters, on-site operations, and post-event follow-up.
Communication and Outreach: Implementing strategies to engage with volunteers, partners, stakeholders which includes coordinating communication efforts to raise awareness on the charity's work, events and including create and distribute newsletters and communications (including social media).
Data Management: Track and maintain volunteer record hours, activities, feedback.
Collaboration: Work closely with all partners -stakeholders, sponsors and other organizations
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in a relevant field of study
Experience: Preferably with Min. 2 years of experience in stakeholder management or volunteer management related work is advantageous
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and good organisational skills, team player, time management, and multi-tasking skills; attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to use tools like Canva will be advantageous.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and proactively offer solutions.
Interest in Healthcare and Disability Sector: A genuine interest in supporting professionals in the healthcare and disability sectors to improve care for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Others: Perform any additional ad-hoc duties which may be required
