A community-focused charity in Singapore is seeking an Executive to support volunteer management and engagement activities. This role involves fostering partnerships, coordinating events, and maintaining volunteer relationships. The ideal candidate has a degree, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in stakeholder management or volunteer work. Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone with the skills to support our volunteer management and engagement activities, foster and build strong partnerships with stakeholders and other organizations aimed at supporting adults with intellectual disabilities.
As an Executiveproviding support in volunteer management, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our volunteers are effectively integrated into the charity's operations and contribute to its mission. The role includes building strong relationships with volunteers in a positive and engaging environment and developing and implementing strategies to attract and recruit volunteers. You will be integral in the process of volunteer recruitment, screening, orientation, training, programme planning and execution, scheduling and deployment, evaluation, database management and closure.
Also, volunteer engagement includes activities such as organising appreciation and networking sessions, conducting regular check-ins with clients and volunteers to gather feedback and address concerns, create and distribute newsletters, marketing materials and communications (including social media), and publicizing events to attract attendees and volunteers.
You will also be involved in identifying and cultivatingrelationships with potential partners, developing and maintaining partnerships with corporate sponsors, community groups, and other organizations.
