Job description

1. Training Operations and Programme Administration

  • Comprehensive understanding of the requirements and objectives of various training programmes and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of programmes, including discussions and negotiations with programme partners, stakeholders, and faculty on programme objectives.
  • Provide guidance and advice to resolve complex training issues.
  • Develop and review training administration and operational processes.
  • Manage department resources and staff effectively to achieve optimal results.
  • Negotiate and liaise with external training consultants and vendors on agreements, proposals, and procurement processes.
  • Develop, prepare, and recommend programme budgets and course fee structures, including inputs for the College's annual budget.
  • Prepare and present materials and notes for meetings and committees.
  • Maintain participants' records and manage the e-learning system for training and programmes.
  • Support participants’ learning queries and monitor the e-learning system.

2. Learning Design and Curriculum Development

  • Coordinate and assist in developing training resources with subject matter experts (SMEs) and curriculum committees (NHG, MOH).
  • Support learning design and curriculum development as a member or secretariat of curriculum committees.
  • Participate in developing programme curriculum and assessment methods, including courseware and materials, with inputs from SMEs or committees.
  • Review programme documentation, such as lesson plans, programme outlines, and assessment plans, to ensure they meet College requirements.
  • Manage curriculum and programme development, validation, and evaluation with inputs from SMEs or committees.

3. Corporate Governance, Innovation, and Improvement

  • Lead efforts to develop and promote strategies for continuous improvement in training quality and compliance, including accreditation.
  • Plan and recommend strategies to leverage technology to enhance learning and training management processes.
  • Evaluate training performance indicators for effectiveness.
  • Engage faculty in evaluating, implementing, and utilizing learning technologies and systems.
  • Research and analyze technological trends in learning and recommend new technologies.

4. NHG College Initiatives

  • Lead College members in recommending and executing initiatives to improve College development, including staff, programme, and faculty development.
  • Engage, negotiate, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Seek opportunities to form alliances and networks internally and externally to benefit the College.
