A leading company in aerospace technology is seeking an Inventory and Operations Manager to oversee inventory operations and warehousing. The role involves monitoring supply chain processes, coordinating with teams, and identifying cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, be proficient in SAP, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Job Description
Manage and optimise inventory operation (provision, control, distribution and aging management; stock transfer between SLOCs; consignment stock).
Manage warehousing operation (batch in and batch out in SAP; GR and GI; incoming check).
Monitor integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
Manage demand exceptions and excursion to ensure smooth production run, through coordination with cross functional teams.
Perform shipment export including ATA Carnet application.
Evaluate existing supply chain processes to identify areas that need optimization via automation and software.
Ensure all supplies, materials and goods are obtained on time and at a competitive rate.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost-effective and on-time delivery of materials.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives such as process automation, supplier consolidation and optimization of transportation routes.
Train and oversee junior employees.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Proficient in SAP
Strong understanding of production and business processes
Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
Strong sense of responsibility with initiative
