Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Airport Operations (Development & Procedures) Department, within the Customer Services & Operations Division.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review, develop and implement ground services procedures to:
    1. Adhere to regulatory requirements
    2. Improve ground efficiency and customer service
  2. Maintain the operational manuals to ensure compliance with the requirement of the Air Navigation Order, IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and Star Alliance Core Values.
  3. Provide input / advice on ground services procedures in various situations, such as:
    1. Enquiries from stations and other departments on passenger handling
    2. Input on codeshare and interline agreement for section on ground services.
    3. Delay Occurrence Committee (DOC) Meetings
  4. Star Alliance Core Value Co-owner for (airport operations)
  5. Handle Stationery inventory issues with Commercial Supplies for STRA and some SMAZ items
  6. Review and update the content on SIA's website for pages on baggage, visas and Immigrations, special assistance, customer commitment, flight disruption statement, Changi airport and counter check-in.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  2. Experience in airport and airline operations preferred
  3. Good writing skills
  4. Ability to grasp concepts and situations quickly
  5. Logical thinking with the ability to carry out scenario planning
  6. Attention to detail
  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills
