Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites applications for Executive / Senior Engineer, Development & Building Control (Road). You will assess development and road network proposals to ensure they meet LTA policies, requirements and acts, bridging planning with construction.

Work spans engineering, policy and industry as you engage developers, QPs and the public to resolve issues. The role also invites innovation, including exploring AI-enabled tools to streamline regulatory reviews and

Qualifications

Experience in road design, traffic engineering or infrastructure development.
Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
Ability to engage stakeholders and drive issues toward resolution.
Interest in AI, digital innovation and continuous improvement.
3–5 years of relevant experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Technical Evaluation: Evaluate development proposals, road and parking designs, and street works plans to ensure compliance with LTA's requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with LTA divisions, developers, consultants, QPs and members of the public to resolve technical issues.
Technology and Innovation: Explore AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to streamline technical reviews and transform regulatory workflows.
Policy and Process Improvement: Review and reimagine policies, guidelines and processes to keep pace with industry developments and road safety.
