Job description

Overview

Reporting to the Section Head, Service Operations, you will work closely with Service Ops team, clinicians, administrators and other healthcare professionals to use data and data analytics to facilitate data-driven decision making to improve patient service experience and care.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  1. Support stakeholders in review, analysis of key performance indicators and establishing insights to measure and optimise patient experience and care quality across NUH.
  2. Identify relevant datasets and work with data teams in the integration and management of data, ensuring data hygiene, quality and accessibility for analysis.
  3. Develop and maintain both external and internal dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  4. Compile, analyse, and provide relevant data to bolster improvement projects and strengthen award applications, ensuring success service stories are effectively showcased and recognised.
  5. Participate in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) projects aimed at enhancing patient experience.
  6. Develop a system for knowledge management to document all Service Ops discussions and ensure that the system remains updated and accessible to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration or other relevant fields
  • Prefer 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good statistical and data management skills required, and preferably proficient in data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Understanding of basic medical terms and jargons would be advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented and flexible person who can work across different areas within the team as well as alignment cross functionally outside the team.
  • Can-do attitude and ability to work independently, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Thrive in problem solving, learning and applying new knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
