A leading company in Singapore is looking for a detail-oriented Executive/ Senior Executive, Payroll to manage comprehensive payroll processes ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of employment laws, relevant software proficiency, and experience in payroll management.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive/ Senior Executive, Payroll to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
Responsibilities:
Managing the end-to-end payroll processing of multiple entities, ensuring employees are paid timely and accurately according to Company’s policies and statutory regulations.
Prepare and handle all statutory submission, such as CPF submissions, IR8A, IR21, government paid leave claims, employment wages survey, etc.
Prepare payroll invoices and journal entries to Subsidiaries/Finance for monthly financial closing.
Prepare monthly share expenses allocation.
Prepare director’s fee schedule.
Prepare annual manpower cost budget.
Oversee the payroll for overseas’ entities, such as Malaysia and Myamnar and ensure salary are paid timely and accurately according to Company’s policies and relevant statutory regulations.
Liaise with tax agent/payroll vendor on the tax filing for employees who are posted oversea.
Perform regular reconciliations to ensure payroll costs are recorded correctly in the financial system.
Assist in internal and external audits of payroll processes and documentation to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies.
Prepare key management remuneration information for annual statutory report.
Work closely with IT/Payroll software vendor to ensure system is up to date and operates efficiently. Assist with the implementation of payroll system improvements.
Any other payroll-related responsibilities as assigned by the Payroll Manager or Senior Management.
Requirements:
Accounting Degree. Additional certification in Payroll management will be an added advantage.
3 – 5 years of experience in payroll processing
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF regulations and tax requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Familiar with Payroll software (e.g. Prosoft) will be an advantage.
