The National Environment Agency is seeking an Executive or Senior Executive for the Facilities Management and Engineering Department. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations across NEA sites, ensuring they remain safe and functional while liaising with contractors and stakeholders. Applicants should possess relevant experience in building management and be knowledgeable about local regulations.

What you will be working on:
You are responsible for managing the day-to-day Facilities Management (FM) operations including the following:
Carry out and manage/ coordinate the maintenance of multiple NEA sites to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment.
Liaise with stakeholders such as internal staff, landlord and other government agencies on matters related to the maintenance, fire safety, workplace safety and facilities for NEA sites
Supervise the maintenance works carried out by contractors and ensure works completed are in order and in accordance with stipulated requirements
Seek quotations,review contractor’s proposal/quotation and verify/assess rates provided are in order
Draft technical specifications for services/works, initiate procurement requests, and ensure deliverables meet specified requirement
Supervise the delivery and completion of facility related improvement projects e.g. renovations
Maintain accurate works, inventory and asset records.
What we are looking for:
At least 3 years of relevant experiences in Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Estate Management or Facilities Management. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Familiar with local regulations related to Buildings, Workplace Safety & Health, and Fire Safety Management
Familiar with local Codes of Practices and FM operational practices
Familiar/ knowledgeable in Building Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
Familiar with Green Mark 2021 Requirements
Familiar / experienced in Contract Management (IFM & Cleaning) & Procurement
Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office applications
Familiar with aspects of project management
Able to work both independently and in a team
Meticulous and analytical
Comfortable with fast-paced environment that require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
Good communication and written skills
Able and willing to work after office hours, including weekends and Public Holidays if need arise
Having own transport would be an advantage and willing to travel between sites
