Job description

At Food from the Heart (FFTH), we aren't just a non-profit organisation; we are a movement dedicated to making a real impact on food insecurity in Singapore since 2003. If you're passionate about turning compassion into action, we want YOU to be a part of our dynamic team! Together, let's create a Singapore where there is not food insecurity.

Overview
This role is pivotal in ensuring that FFTH’s core mission—providing food to those in need—is met consistently and effectively. You will lead the planning, execution, and growth of FFTH’s major food drives and work closely with corporate partners to facilitate successful donation drives. Additionally, you will support and participate in the delivery of our flagship fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead FFTH’s Organised Food Drives

  • Take full ownership of all major FFTH-organised food drive operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and impactful execution.

  • Manage end-to-end logistics and volunteer coordination to ensure collection goals are met.

  • Facilitate Corporate-Partner Food Drives

  • Collaborate closely with corporate sponsors to initiate, plan, and support their donation drives, acting as the key liaison throughout.

  • Guide corporate partners with materials, setup, and logistics to ensure a fulfilling experience and maximum food yield.

  • Support Key Fundraising Events

  • Play a hands-on role in the planning and execution of signature events such as the Passion Ball, Charity Golf Tournament, Toy Buffet and large-scale food drive campaigns.

  • Assist in coordinating event logistics, liaising with vendors, and managing event-day operations.

  • Engagement and Communication

  • Maintain strong working relationships with community and corporate partners to ensure long-term engagement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with volunteers and internal teams to align efforts with FFTH’s mission.

  • Data & Reporting

  • Track outcomes and maintain records of food drives and events, contributing to reporting and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in events, fundraising, or community engagement. Experience in nonprofit or volunteer-driven settings is an advantage.

  • Skills: Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with event tools or CRM platforms is a bonus.

  • Mindset: A team player with a genuine passion for helping others and a solutions-focused approach.
