Job description

Overall Job Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate and enterprising individual to join our Events & Partnerships team. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing sales team responsible for identifying and securing third-party events for Sentosa – ranging from community-scale experiences to large-scale, world-class public or corporate events. You will also be involved in the operational coordination and execution of these events alongside external organisers and internal teams.

While achieving sales targets is a key outcome, your scope will also include supporting the ideation and creative shaping of innovative event concepts that enhance the Sentosa brand experience. These could be done alongside the event organisers or with internal teams.

In addition, you will play a critical role in rallying Sentosa’s Island Partners (e.g., hotels, attractions, F&B outlets) to co-create meaningful activations in line with major events. These efforts aim to create island-wide festivalisation and amplify the vibrancy and attractiveness of Sentosa for key occasions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering event-driven revenue targets and galvanising partner collaboration. Your responsibilities include:

  • Pitching and marketing Sentosa as a destination of choice for corporate clients and event organisers.
  • Proactively sourcing and securing new events, guided by competitive scans and aligned to Sentosa’s brand values and visitor experience goals.
  • Collaborating with Island Partners and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and best-in-class guest experience.
  • Leading festivalisation initiatives tied to major events—aligning partners under a shared thematic vision and driving measurable outcomes (e.g., participation rates, voucher redemptions).
  • Supporting event planning logistics, operational readiness, and on-ground delivery in collaboration with organisers.
  • Managing procurement-related processes, ensuring adherence to internal governance and documentation standards.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Sales, Business, Hospitality, or a related Tourism-focused field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in event organisation, partnerships and sales, or tourism/destination marketing. But fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • A strong interest or background in music, sports, arts, or other live entertainment industries (non-exhaustive) that shape world-class event experiences.
  • Enthusiastic, self-driven, resourceful, and able to multi-task and work under pressure independently and as a team.
  • Strong business acumen, good analytical and negotiation skills and excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent follow-up ability.
  • Good business writing skills and presentation skills
  • Attentive, meticulous to details, and well-organised
