Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions Singapore's built environment by regulating building safety and maintenance. You will contribute to safeguarding the built environment through inspection regimes, reporting, and enforcement actions, while also participating in policy development.

We seek a Civil & Structural Engineer, ideally PE registered or preparing for registration, with 3–4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and ideally PE registration with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (or preparing for registration).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in building maintenance, inspection, or architectural finishes, OR at least 4 years in structural design and analysis of buildings.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills; good teamwork and interpersonal/communication abilities; fluent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• As part of a dynamic organisation, you will also have the opportunity to work on other aspects of building control.

What we are looking for

A degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably a practising Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore. Candidates who are not registered PEs but are preparing for registration would also be considered.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in building maintenance, inspection, or architectural finishes, OR at least 4 years of experience in structural design and analysis of buildings.

• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
