Job description

  • Assist in the department’s projects, research and analysis, and events related to women’s development.

  • This includes updating and managing the department’s information repository (for statistics and indicators on women’s development); monitoring media traction on women’s issues; assessing, conceptualising and executing women’s development events, including speech-writing.

  • Support the department to prepare submissions to international platforms. This includes preparing briefs on international gender equality ranking reports; collating returns from various stakeholders;

  • Engage corporate partners, non-governmental organisations, government agencies to profile and implement policies to support women’s development

  • Provide admin and budgeting support to the department

  • Support the department in any other ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Degree in arts and social sciences, humanities, international relations, public policy, communications or relevant.

  • Good analytical, writing and communications skills

  • Experience working in public sector agencies is advantageous
