Singapore General Hospital is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to enhance volunteer engagement and manage related activities. The role involves developing strategies, coordinating training, and collaborating with partners to foster volunteer opportunities. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience in event management, as well as strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
You will support the SGH Volunteer Management Department, under Division of Population Health and Integrated Care (PHIC). You will support in recruitment, training, planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to volunteer management and engagement.
The roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:
• Develop and implement strategies to promote volunteer opportunities, recruit & maintain a strong volunteer pipeline
• Manage volunteer applications, onboarding and matching with programmes/partners
• Analyze recruitment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
• Plan coordinate and execute training, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
• Develop, review and improve volunteers’ engagement and training materials regularly
• Monitor and evaluate feedback from volunteers, partners and programme managers
• Collaborate with SingHealth institutions and partner volunteer groups to co-create volunteer opportunities
• Any other tasks as assigned by Director/ Supervisor
