Qualifications

• Familiarity with EP programs, policies and support.
• Able to lead and support teammates in operations.
• Valid driver’s license (Mc class 3) and 3+ years driving.
• Holder of PLRD security officer licence.

About the Team

The Physical Security team is part of the Corporate Services (CS) department and is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Physical Security (PSEC) projects and programs to support ByteDance global operations. The team is comprised of experienced and passionate physical security professionals from diverse backgrounds across corporate, military, law enforcement, and government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide dynamic close protection support, including security driving, for company executives as required.
• Implement and support the company Executive Protection Program; provide limited‑notice Executive Protection support (including travel) to all destinations globally.
• Conduct risk assessments and security advances in preparation for protection operations.
• Understand executive protection industry and be able to implement protective best practices.
• Design and develop related EP programs and trainings as required; be familiar with and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner; provide administrative support in conjunction with the executive protection duties.

Qualifications

• A proven record of working in Executive Protection or Close Protection.
• Solid capabilities of identifying and analyzing current and future security needs of a global organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a keen business acumen.
• Familiarity with Executive Protection programs, policies and support.
• Able to work well in a team setting, with the ability to lead, as well as support teammates in their operations.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (minimumMc class 3) and actively drive for at least the past 3 years.
• Holder of PLRD security officer licence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background in Criminology, Security Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Down‑to‑earth, humble and resilient.
• Able to work flexible hours and travel on a frequent basis, including some weekends as needed.
• Have adequate experience and background in travel security.
