A leading organization in social services is seeking a support role to assist social workers with community work and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will coordinate events, manage IT resources, and provide various support functions. Ideal candidates should possess a degree or diploma in social services and demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist social workers in the development, planning and evaluation of groupwork and/or community work.
Support social workers in the provision of interventions (groupwork, casework, community work and family development programme).
To coordinate and liaise with individuals and other organisations with regards to donations, invitations, events and activities involving our service users
Oversee the overall BIPs & Non-BIPs IT administration, maintenance and safe keeping of all Non-BIPs IT resources, including maintaining BIP laptop Asset list and other IT Asset List, updating Acclivis monthly and transfer of BIP laptop to another worker.
Track open & close cases, prepare staff monthly stats, generate related monthly SSNet reports co-ordinate & generate data/clean up data for audit.
Provide various administrative support for the Family Development Programme. Among others are to follow up on monthly bills collections from clients, keying data in the PDP portal.
SSNET Administration - creating new staff SSNet account, terminating SSNet account for staff who has resigned; assisting caseworkers' remaining tasks in SSNet to close accordingly.
To liaise with IT and HR on matters related to new staffs email creation and password, accessing the SharePoint etc.
To assist in conducting relevant research work. Among others are to conduct data mining from SSNet and analysis, report writing, interviewing respondents etc.
To assist as coverage to Admin Team in disbursing money or vouchers to caseworkers when they apply for emergency fund and other schemes. While doing coverage duties, to safekeep the money and vouchers and to keep accurate financial recording/ transaction.
Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Centre/ Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor degree in any discipline / a Diploma in social services
A team player, Independent and able to multi-task
Able to converse and write fluently and be proficient with MS Office
Good communication skills so as to present and interact confidently with community partners
Confident to take charge of the programmes and activities assigned and mobilize other staff in the programme team, when necessary
