Job summary

NTU's School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering seeks a dynamic Executive, Outreach (Industry Partnerships) to strengthen industry engagement and create employment and internship opportunities for MAE graduate students. The role drives outreach, event planning, and strategic partnerships, coordinating with partners and internal teams.

The candidate will manage seminars, industry visits, and communications, while promoting MAE's programs and building lasting industry relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in partnerships or business development.
• Experience with industry seminars or corporate visits is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive and professional presentation skills.
• Project management with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement with target industries and partners.
• Identify partner opportunities and secure employment and internship opportunities for students.
• Plan and coordinate events, seminars, and industry visits (concept, agenda, speakers, venues, logistics).
• Coordinate with speakers, venues, vendors and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Support other organizational events (workshops, seminars) including planning and on-site involvement.

The Executive, Outreach (Industry Partnerships) supports the University's mission by strengthening industry engagement, creating meaningful employment and internship opportunities for MAE graduate students, and enhancing graduate employability through coordinated outreach initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement
• Identify target industries, associations, and potential partner organizations.
• Engage industry partners to identify and secure employment and internship opportunities for students.
• Event Planning & Coordination with Students and Programme Directors.
• Manage end-to-end planning for seminars and industry visits (concept, agenda, speakers, venues, logistics).
• Coordinate with speakers, venues, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Act as a backup or support lead for other organizational events (workshops, seminars) as needed, including planning, logistics, and on-site support.
• Marketing & Communications Support
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote events through email campaigns, social media, and industry networks.
• Maintain accurate contact records, track outreach activities, and monitor attendance and engagement metrics.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resource or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in partnerships or business development; experience with industry seminars or corporate visits is a plus; demonstrated ability to support other types of events is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive and professional presentation skills.
• Project management with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently.
• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
• Budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills.
