A charitable organization in Singapore seeks a dedicated individual to join its Resource Development Team. You will play a crucial role in organizing key fundraising events, engaging with stakeholders, managing logistics, and ensuring successful execution. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in relevant fields with up to 2 years of experience in event management, showcasing strong planning and organizational skills.
Job Purpose
A s a core member of the Resource Development (RD) Team, you will report to and work closely with the Assistant Head and share collective responsibilities in meeting the society’s fundraising objectives. In particular, as part of the events team, you will plan, organise and execute key fundraising events such as Grateful Hearts Day, Charity Golf, Gala Dinner, Concert, key community fundraising / advocacy events etc. You will also work closely with the volunteers, volunteer leaders. internal and external stakeholders including organising committee, vendors, partners, sponsors and donors to ensure the events are executed timely and successfully.
Job Responsibilities
● Coordinate all aspects of end-to-end pre and post event execution, including venue sourcing, vendor review, logistics coordination, on-site execution and post event support.
● Manage fundraising inventory (e.g., merchandise, donation boxes, goodie bags, appreciation certificates, event materials such as stationery, signage, marketing collateral etc.)
● Develop event timelines, critical paths, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
● Recruit, train, brief and manage volunteers to support the successful execution of pre and post fundraising events. ● Liaise with internal departments (e.g., RD, Marketing & Communications, Volunteer Management and Donor Engagement Team) to ensure seamless event execution.
● Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and resources.
● Prepare post-event reports and evaluations.
Job Specifications Qualifications:
● Minimum Diploma in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields, with up to 2 years of related experience in fundraising and/or events management.
● Proven track record in successfully organizing and executing events of varying scales.
● Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
● Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Knowledge:
● Excellent event planning and project management skills.
● Strong communication (Spoken & Written), interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
