Job summary

Income Insurance Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organised candidate for a role in Clines Operations. This fast-paced position focuses on processing New Business applications and enhancing client experience in Property & Casualty insurance, particularly Marine products. Qualifications

Job description

Clines Operations plays an important role in enhancing the client and partner experience in terms of New Business application submission and Policy services transactions. This position is a fast-paced role with a daily operational focus to process transactions speedily and accurately.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Process New Business Applications, Renewals and Endorsements for Property & Casualty business, specialising in Marine-related products with accuracy and within our Service Level Agreement.

  • Receipt and allocate payments to customers’ policies.

  • Handle instructions, enquiries and follow up on all outstanding matters with internal and external customers speedily.

  • Review processes with the objective of improving efficiency and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in projects, system enhancement and user testing.

  • Take on ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline with an interest in the insurance sector

  • 3 or more years of experience in the insurance industry; experience in Property & Casualty insurance, especially Marine will be advantageous

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to handle multiple systems

  • A good command of both written and spoken English

  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

  • Ability to work with tight timelines and pressure

  • Keen eye for detail and is highly organised around multiple priorities & timelines

  • Good communication and people skills
