About SGN
The Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division under EDB and focuses on building a strong ecosystem of overseas family, friends and fans of Singapore. This includes growing a network of individuals whose skills, affinity and influence could strengthen Singapore’s business and talent ecosystem, along with enhancing international mindshare of Singapore as a vibrant global hub in Asia.
[What you will be working on]
We are looking for a meticulous, organised, empathetic and driven individual to join our team as an Executive Officer. You will be a key point of contact for our internal stakeholders as well as external partners across government and the private sector, managing the schedules for SGN’s senior management, and supporting the people and administrative needs of the division. You will be required to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and take initiative to provide timely assistance and resolution of issues, while maintaining a strong customer and people-centric approach.
The Key Responsibilities Include
- Undertaking Secretariat duties required to support SGN’s senior management with scheduling, necessary meeting arrangements and logistics, office management and any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required (e.g. answering calls, emails, addressing general queries
- Implementing the division’s culture-building and staff welfare activities, including arranging for team cohesion and staff welfare efforts, and running the onboarding process for newcomers to the division
- Maintaining the division’s knowledge management efforts and processes, which could include, updating databases and proper documentation of files, and working with internal teams to ensure that internal knowledge documents are current and accessible
- Managing internal processes to ensure timeliness and compliance with corporate reporting requirements (e.g. Audits, budget management)

Skills
The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, savviness with using digital tools for productivity (eg Gen AI), resourcefulness, integrity, and a passion to help others. To meet the challenges of this position, the candidate must have/be:
- Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in general administration roles

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
- Good use of collaboration tools, particularly Microsoft Teams and Skype
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proactive approach to work with demonstrated teamwork
