Job description

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strong Executive Officer (Payroll & Benefits Administration), at the People Excellence Office.


Key Responsibilities


The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the full spectrum of monthly payroll using an integrated and automated payroll system for over 500 employees. You will be required to establish/maintain employee records to ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and updated on a timely basis.


You will review and process deductions from payroll and reimbursement of part-time lecturing claims, overtime, allowances and other benefits claims via payroll systemas well as prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports.


To administer various staff benefits and leave schemes, including Work Injury Compensation Insurance claims; claims under Group Hospitalization & Surgical Insurance Plan; Group Medical & Dental Insurance Plan, Flexible Benefits, Departmental Staff Welfare, etc. In addition, you will also be required to submit and monitor reimbursement of claims for all Government-Paid Leave Grants and assist in manpower budgeting and special projects as necessary.


Requirements & Qualifications


You should ideally possess a Diploma qualification in any discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, in payroll and benefits administration. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.


You should be numerate and have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, knowledge of Unit 4 ProSoft System or SAP would be an advantage.


To succeed in this role, you should possess good problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, meet all deadlines, together with strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure will be essential. You will be required to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
