Job summary

SP Group is seeking a seasoned safety leader to drive Group-level safety strategy and implement safety initiatives across sites in Singapore. You will lead programmes, adopt Safety AI and CCTV analytics, and present performance updates with improvement recommendations.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial/construction safety, strong WSH knowledge, and excellent communication. Registration as a WSHO is preferred; experience with AI safety solutions is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Safety, Health & Environment or Engineering from a recognised university.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industrial/construction experience.
  • Good knowledge of local WSH legislation.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal, organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • WSHO registration with MOM preferred.
  • Experience in safety technologies and AI solutions, including computer vision, video analytics, VLM and smart PPE, would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement workplace safety and health programmes.

  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and monitoring activities, and recommend corrective actions for unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and related legislation and standards across SP and contractor worksites.
  • Support incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure personnel follow safe work practices.
  • Monitor safety performance and recommend practical improvements.
  • Serve as secretary for safety committees.

Job description
