Job description

As a member of the Communications team, you will provide key project and brand management support, and be responsible for department administration to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the team’s activities and initiatives, and. The team works closely with all business functions and external partners to position SP as an energy leader in Singapore and the region, employer of choice and caring citizen in the community.

What You'll Do:

1.Project management

  • Work closely with team leads on logistics arrangements, including sourcing for and procuring services and items, producing event materials and managing catering and hospitality
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders
  • Coordinate venue bookings and set-up with audio-visual and digital tools running smoothly

2.Brand management support

  • Support team members in the implementation of initiatives
  • Manage inventory and requests for corporate gifts and apparel
  • Produce staff communication materials with templates provided
  • Update calendar of events

3.Department administration

  • Provide administrative support to head of department and team members, including coordination of diaries and rosters, and organising meetings and appointments and make the necessary logistics arrangements
  • Manage procurement of items and services, process invoices and expense claims, and maintain records of expenses
  • Maintain filing system and record-keeping of digital and physical documents
  • Organise inventory of items, including equipment and stationery, and replenish items as needed
  • Manage general correspondence on email and hard-copy, ensuring they are acted on or redirected in a timely and accurate manner
  • Travel coordination: management the flight and accommodation bookings and expenses

What You'll Need:

  1. Degree in a relevant field
  2. At least 5 years of experience in office administration, project management and/or hospitality
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; ability to produce simple designs with software such as Canva and Adobe would be an advantage
  4. Strong organisational and time management skills, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  5. Good spoken and written communication skills
  6. Work well as a team, and with various internal and external stakeholders
