The role will serve as a key point of contact for ILP product compliance matters, providing independent review, and compliance assessment.

Description for Internal Candidates

We are looking for a professional with product compliance background to join our team in Investment Operational Risk and Compliance. You will be supporting the review and oversight of Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) products to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and product standards throughout the product lifecycle. The role will serve as a key point of contact for ILP product compliance matters, providing independent review, and compliance assessment.

The key roleis to ensurethat Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) products, customer disclosures, and product changes comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. ILP Product Compliance

• Review ILP product documentation and customer-facing materials (e.g. Product Summaries, Benefit Illustrations, Policy Contracts, marketing materials, and policyholder notifications) on a regular basis and provide compliance guidance to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide independent compliance review and challenge on new ILP product launches, product enhancements, and material product changes, taking into consideration regulatory requirements, customer outcomes, and industry practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks impacting ILP products, assess their implications, and support the implementation of necessary enhancements to product compliance frameworks, controls, and processes.

2. Investment Operational Risk and Compliance

• Work closely within the Investment Operational Risk function to support a holistic review across ILP products and fund-compliance compliance matters.
• Support the continuous improvement of risk and compliance frameworks by identifying emerging risks, regulatory changes, and control enhancement opportunities across both ILP product compliance and investment operational risk management.
• Review investment-linked product risks and processes and recommend enhancements on the adequacy of the design of internal controls.

3. Other Activities

• Work with team members to contribute to strategic projects relating to ILPs.
• Any regulatory reporting on ILP products

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in ILP product compliance.
• Familiarity with MAS regulations, notices and guidelines with respect to ILP products.
• Good communication and writing skills, able to present to and engage with different stakeholders.
• Team player with good interpersonal skill, able to work independently as w
