About Us

The Industry Relations team at NUS School of Computing connects students with industry leaders, creating valuable relationships that lead to exciting internship and job opportunities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Executive to assist in the administration of internship programs and related activities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the student experience and the university community.

Job Description

Internship Programme Management

  1. Assist in student and employer queries pertaining to internship matters within stipulated timeline.
  2. Assist in monitoring student applications and job postings from employers.
  3. Manage and process students' internship enrollment and grade processing.
  4. Generate placement letters for students.
  5. Take part in streamlining the current processes and systems to improve the efficiency of the internship procedures.

Employer Engagement & Outreach

  1. Engage with companies in various industry sectors, in alignment with the needs and strengths of Computing students.
  2. Assist to organize networking sessions to create additional platforms to connect corporates and students.

Student Development & Training

  1. Assist to organize relevant workshops and trainings to ensure that students develop skills needed to grow their careers and conduct effective job searches.

Event Coordination & Logistics

  1. Assist to coordinate and provide logistical support for events, seminars, and workshops.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or Degree holder.
  2. Those with no experience may apply.
  3. Highly self-motivated individual who is independent and adaptive.
  4. Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with multiple timelines and stakeholders.
  5. Excellent project and time management skills.
  6. Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  7. Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skills.
  8. IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
  9. The successful incumbent will be offered an initial 2 years' employment contract, subject to renewal.
