Job description

St Joseph's Home, a Person-centred residential healthcare facility located in Jurong West, is redefining the way we take care of our elderly, and would like to invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of:

Executive (Human Resources)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and partner with our various departments (via a consultative and pro-active approach) in the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition/ on-boarding matters, maintain and ensure compliance of employees’ database, assist in performance management
  • Promote and support positive and constructive employee relations
  • Manage and maintain manpower plans and budget, including the creation of management reports and employee-related documentation
  • Participate and collaborate in special projects

Background Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or relevant field from a recognised institution
  • At least 3 to 4 years of relevant HR experience (prior experience in the healthcare sector would be an advantage)

Key Assets and Abilities:

  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in fluid situations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills (both written and spoken), adept at employee relations including conflict resolution
  • Client-focused, with a high standard of service delivery
  • Excellent team player with the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task assignments
  • Good analytical and decision-making capabilities, meticulous and accurate
  • Expertise in oral & written communications in Chinese would be advantageous in engaging Chinese-speaking staff
