A leading non-profit organization is seeking an Executive, HR & Administration to manage compensation and benefits operations while providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations and relevant qualifications, contributing to the organization's mission of environmental sustainability.
The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) is a non-profit organisation established in 1995 that champions environmental sustainability through certification schemes like the Singapore Green Labelling Scheme, educational programs, community engagement, and advocacy. It offers eco-certifications for businesses and events, conducts sustainability training, and recognises environmental excellence through awards such as the Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards. SEC also engages in research to influence policy and is the only Singaporean member of the Global Ecolabelling Network, with accreditation from the United Nations Environment Programme.
As Executive, HR & Administration, you will work closely with the Deputy Director (HR, IT, and Administration) to manage compensation and benefits operations. You will also provide administrative support, including general office coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Compensation & Benefits Support (50%):
Manage the administration of payroll, employee benefits, and statutory contributions.
Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and leave entitlements.
Support the annual salary review and bonus processes, including data collation and analysis.
Liaise with external vendors and government agencies on HR-related matters (e.g., CPF, IRAS, MOM).
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal policies.
2. General HR Support (25%):
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
Support HR audits and reporting requirements.
3. Administrative Support (25%):
Manage staff claims processing and reimbursement workflows.
Coordinate office administration tasks such as procurement, inventory, and vendor management.
Support the organisation of internal events and staff engagement activities.
Handle general correspondence and documentation filing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in HR operations, with a focus on compensation and benefits.
Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations and HR best practices.
Certified HR professional preferred (IHRP/CIPD/SHRM)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Times Soft).
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an initial online interview. Candidates who progress beyond the first round will be scheduled for a second interview with the Executive Director. Please note that a background check will be conducted for selected candidates before final appointment.
