Summary:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, hygiene, and client satisfaction. This role includes managing housekeeping staffs, negotiating contracts with vendors, and identifying new business opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring optimal staff deployment and workflow efficiency.
Develop, implement, and enforce housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality benchmarks.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Perform regular audit checks to uphold service excellence and quality standards.
Strategically plan and manage manpower deployment to meet operational needs effectively.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal management to align on strategic operational goals.
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to support organizational growth and objectives
Oversee the preparation and management of fiscal operating and capital budgets.
Engage with staff regularly to ensure compliance with performance KPIs and service standards.
Ensure timely execution of scheduled housekeeping tasks and maintain detailed records in compliance with company and client requirements.
Address customer feedback and complaints by implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
Promptly respond to client requests and provide status updates upon completion.
Identify, negotiate, and oversee contracts with suppliers and service providers
Foster strong vendor and client relationships to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service agreements and quality expectations.
Ensure all contracts align with company policies, operational requirements, and budget constraints.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand housekeeping services, including outsourcing, service extensions, and strategic partnerships.
Assist in designing service packages that align with business objectives and enhance guest experiences.
Explore and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to drive profitability.
Recruit, develop, and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of service excellence.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support staff growth and skill development.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or corporate setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation and contract management experience.
Business acumen with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Knowledge of housekeeping technology, equipment, and best practices.
Strong communication and organizational skills
