Job summary

A maritime company in Singapore is seeking an individual to support the commercial team with sales and purchase transactions of offshore support vessels. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent English communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Join us to assist in managing commercial operations and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in offshore support vessel (OSV) sales, purchase, or commercial support experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential.
• Highly organized, resourceful, proactive and meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial team for weekly/monthly reporting.
• Manage sales and purchase enquiries, engaging with buyers for vessel disposals.
• Close sale/purchase transactions, handling documents and liaising with departments.
• Assist in planning of marketing events and activities.

Job description

• To support the commercial team for weekly/monthly reporting (utilization report, fleet status report, MMR backlog reports, weekly marketing updates - minutes of meeting)
• To be responsible for Sales and Purchase enquiries, actively engaging with buyers for vessels to be disposed, sourcing for candidates which Group/BU wishes to pursue
• To be responsible for closing of a sale/purchase transaction, including handling all documents related to the Protocol of delivery and acceptance and liaison with departments such as legal and accounts for invoicing
• To assist in the planning of marketing events and activities
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in offshore support vessel (OSV) sales and purchase experience or commercial support experience in similar industry
• Minimum diploma in Business or Maritime studies
• Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential
• Highly organized, resourceful, proactive and meticulous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
