Job description

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting skills, as well as a growth-oriented and innovative mindset.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle the complete set of accounts for assigned services

  • Perform monthly account closings and prepare balance sheet schedules.

  • Preparation of financial schedules, statutory accounts and ensuring accounts quality meets the agreed service levels

  • Submit statutory and other required reports Reconcile intercompany and bank transactions.

  • Prepare monthly consolidated reports and dashboards.

  • Assist in managing fixed assets, including disposals and transfers.

  • Handle the annual budget and forecast for assigned services with proper analysis.

  • Ensure the service budget aligns with funding agreements from ministries.

  • Update cash flow projections for assigned banks.

  • Collaborate closely with business counterparts on financial matters.

  • Handle audit inquiries and prepare audit schedules for year-end audits.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of information at all times.

  • Thoroughly understand the nature and operations of assigned services.

  • Propose changes to finance processes to improve internal controls or increase efficiency, where applicable.

  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by partnering with team members and supervisors to streamline and implement best practices.

  • Identify daily operational issues and collaborate with the supervisor to resolve them

  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by supervisors.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or its equivalents

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
