Job summary

A leading finance firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable professional responsible for the full spectrum of AP functions in the Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accountancy and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounts payable. Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of SFRS are essential, while experience with SAP is advantageous. This role requires a mature and meticulous individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on working experience, preferably in AP.
  • Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Mature, responsible, meticulous, good team player.

The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) function in the Finance department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the reviewing and involved in the full spectrum of the accounts payable ('AP') functions for portfolio of properties.
  • Review of invoices, journal vouchers, schedules, batch payments, staff claims and close adherence to company's policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including statistical reports to government agencies.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audits,tax and GST filings.
  • Assist in ad-hoc operational projects, including conducting credit review for selection of vendors, testing of SAP system etc., as and when required.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on working experience, preferably in AP.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and good knowledge in SFRS.
  • Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Mature, responsible, meticulous, good team player and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
